Dr. Lissette Evelyn Porras Lepage

Physician and Editor-in-Chief of TuTemplo

A health professional with medical training from the University of Carabobo (Venezuela) and clinical experience as a gastroenterologist at Centro Médico Loira in Caracas between 2010 and 2014. Her career combines direct patient care, endoscopic procedures, medical office administration and medical aesthetics, always around the same axis: the direct relationship with the patient.

Based in South Florida, she has worked within the United States healthcare system as a medical assistant at Digestive Medicine Associates and currently practises as a medical aesthetician at Weston Med Spa, while completing her nursing studies.

From that dual perspective, clinical and human, she founded TuTemplo: a space where digestive health information is explained without unnecessary jargon, in Spanish and English, so that everyone can understand their own body and make informed decisions. Her conviction is simple and gives the project its name: your body is your temple, and caring for it begins with understanding it.
